Great Lakes Trade Expo Silent Auction

A silent auction will be conducted during the 2006 Great Lakes Trade Expo/MTF Turf Conference to raise money for turfgrass research and extension activities.  Previous silent auctions at the turf conference have been an important part of our fundraising activities.  100% of the proceeds generated are used to fund turfgrass research or extension activities.  No overhead or administrative costs are taken from these proceeds.

This year’s silent auction promises to be bigger and better than ever.  Items will be displayed in the main gallery of the DeVos Place during the Great Lakes Trade Expo from Monday morning until noon on Wednesday, at which time the auction will close and the winning bidders notified.  The display area will also include the 2006 Harley Road King Custom that will be raffled at the close of the auction.  Attendance at this year’s Expo is expected to exceed 6,500 people, ensuring great visibility for all donors! 

The Michigan Turfgrass Foundation is a non-profit foundation (501c.3), and therefore your donation is tax deductible*.  Foundation donors also receive Michigan State University gift credit for the value of their donation**.  Most importantly, the proceeds from your donation provide annual turfgrass research and extension funding that is critical to all that work as professionals in the turfgrass industry or derive pleasure from well-managed turfgrass areas.  Thank you for your kind support!
